About Us

Back to Nature is the largest non-profit 501-(C)(3) wildlife rehabilitation facility in Central Florida. We are dedicated to the rescue, raise, and rehabilitation of over 2,000 injured and orphaned FL native wildlife each year. Our full intention is to release them back to their wild homes. In addition, we permanently house 48 resident wild, non-releasable animals that serve as educational ambassadors for the facility. BTN has been in existence for over 20 years and is open to the public daily from 9am-4pm.

In 2007, Back to Nature was granted 20acres of Orange County land, managed by the Environmental Protection Department. Our hopes for a brighter future are in your hands! We have been planning our move and are working hard to make this dream come true.

Back to Nature relies on the generosity of the community to provide care and shelter for Central Florida's displaced wildlife
