TOURS

Take a stroll around the refuge with a tour guide who will explain information about the refuge, and its mission.  Along the way, you will see our “Educational Ambassadors” – exotic and native species who live permanently at the refuge and are not releasable back into their natural habitats.  You’ll learn why they are at the refuge and about things that we can do to make a difference in our daily lives that will make a difference for the environment and for the creatures that inhabit it.

Guided tours of the refuge are available daily for a donation of $3.00 per person, minimum groups of 10.

Groups under 10 persons may request a tour for a minimum donation $30.00.

All tours must be prescheduled 2 weeks in advance to assure a tour guide is available to accommodate the group.  In the event of a cancellation, scheduling may be accommodated sooner, if possible.

A guided tour is not required to visit the facility.  Self guided tours may be done during normal refuge hours.
