Great! We do have volunteer requirements though:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be able to volunteer 4 hours a week , between 9am and 1pm on regular basis . You can volunteer more hours if you want, but we only ask for 4 hours a week!
• Must have up to date Tetanus Vaccine
• In order to work with any of the wild mammals that will be released back out into the wild such as raccoons, opossums, and foxes you must complete a Rabies pre-exposure vaccine series through the Health Department. Without these vaccines some of our permanent residents will also be off limits. But there are plenty of animals to take care of without these vaccines.
• Must have a love for animals, the environment & hard work!

If we have just described you, come out and join the fun! There's a lot to do! Just call and leave a message that you are interested in volunteering. We'll call you back and set up a time for you to come out to the refuge for an interview and to set up your first day as a Back to Nature Volunteer!
